Method of practicing Hansasana –
- It is more beneficial to practice Hansasana in a ventilated room or in an open place. It is necessary to have a clean environment for this asana.
- First of all, sit on your knees by laying on a mat. After that, keep both hands on the floor in front of you.
- Keep the ten fingers open with the hands facing forward.
- After this, keep a distance of at least 10 inches between both hands.
- Bend the knees forward and bend the elbows to the back.
- After this, while exhaling slowly, make a balance by lifting the back of your body upwards by giving full emphasis to the body on both palms.
- Now bend the neck forward and make the shape of the body like a swan. Stay in this position for 10-30 seconds and repeat this action at least 2-3 times.
