Instructions for Drawing a Lily. From late spring to fall, lilies are one of the most anticipated flowers to sprout. Did you at least know that each assortment of lilies had different effects? For example, pink lilies speak of kindness and appreciation, while orange embodies certainty and energy.

The Most Effective way to Draw a Lily

Step 1

Start by drawing an unpredictable standing oval shape with a slightly pointed base end. It structures the main leaf of the lily flower.

Step 2

Draw a folded shape on the left half of the main petal we drew in the previous step. It structures the second petal of the Flower.

Remember that the tip of this petal should be in contact with the main petal we drew in the previous step.

Step 3

Repeat the previous step on the opposite side to shape the third lily petal. While this petal should have a similar structure to what it used to be, you can relax if you don’t appear indistinguishable.

However long such a construction takes, there should be no problem. By now, the three petals of the lily should be complete.

Step 4

Draw another petal right next to the one on the left. It structures the fourth petal of the Flower.

Step 5

Repeat the previous step on the facing page to create the fifth petal. However, this petal and the previous one should have a similar design and are not guaranteed to look completely indistinguishable.

Step 6

Draw a curve on the remaining free space in the center of the back of the Flower. This structures the 6th – and final – petal of the lily flower. As is evident, each of the six petals of the lily is currently finite.

Step 7

Push forward on several parts of the Flower and continue defining two equal edges, slightly folded under the petals. It gives structure to the long, fragile stem of the lily flower.

Next, draw a sporadic oval shape that is wide in the middle and narrows towards the two bars on either side of the stem. It makes the leaves on the left and right halves of the stem.

Step 8

Define a thin border stroke at the tip of each petal and on each leaf. It will give your bud more surface area and make it appear saner!

That’s it – you drew a lily! We are finally in the most surprising phase, namely the harvesting of the varieties and the shading of the lily.

Step 9

Define five rounded-tipped borders in the petals. This structures the stamen, the masculine drawing of a lily flower. Remember to include the completely dark shade of the stamen!
