How to remove a funny mug – let’s call began! cool things to draw
Step 1
The cartoon mouth drawing we will create in this guide will be facing to the side, and the mouth will be in a fun and expressive pose! We’ll keep things simple in this first step of the guide, which means we’ll draw the top line of the lip outline. The line will start thin and a bit wavy on the left, then turn into two rounded, wavy lines near the right edge. Once this top schematic is complete, we can move on to the second step of the guide!
Step 2: Now draw the rest of the upper lip.
If you refer to the later images in this guide on drawing a cartoon mouth, you’ll notice that the two lips are separate pieces connected. With this in mind, we’ll remove the rest of the upper lip outline as its portion. Fortunately, this should be an easy task to accomplish! All you need to do is draw a curved line at the base of the line you drew in the previous step. This curved line will be smooth and straightforward, connecting both sides of the top outline. The reference image will show you what this should look like, and then we can continue!
Step 3 – Next, Add the Bottom of the Mouth
You’ve finished the lip outlines of your cartoon mouth drawing, and now we’ll add some inner elements. Specifically, we’ll draw the shapes of the two rows of teeth and the tongue. The outlines of the teeth can be removed using some simple smooth, curved lines inside the mouth that run parallel to the lips. Next, we’ll add some simple curved lines between the rows of teeth for the tongue. The teeth may look like two solid rows, but we’ll add some detail for the separate segments as we get to the final pieces in the next step.
Step 5 – Count the Last Points to Your Picture
Before adding some colors in the final step of this guide on drawing a cartoon mouth, we have a few more details to add. These details will mainly go to the rows of teeth inside the mouth. You can use simple vertical lines across the teeth to show where they are spaced. Once you’ve drawn the teeth, as seen in the reference image, you’re ready for this final step! Before continuing, you might as well add some additional details of your own! Draw a bit more of the face around them.
Step 6: Finish your drawing with color.
It’s time to finish this drawing with some unique colors! In our reference image, we chose some bright reds and pinks for the lips to make them look like they’re covered in bright lipstick. The mouth will open up a bit in a smile, and we’ll use some more rounded curved lines coming down from the upper lip.
This is undoubtedly a part of the guide where you may want to closely refer to the reference image as you draw, as these lines are pretty specific in shape. Once you’ve drawn these outlines, you’ll be able to remove the lower lip using another curved line, and then we can continue adding
